Crystals, Rocks, Stones…..whatever you choose to call them, they are truly a gift from the earth.  Not quite sure this is true?  Read on….
In the beginning, I just thought they looked pretty and holding them in my hand felt good. I wasn’t sure why this was the case but back then I was only just beginning my healing journey and finding my spiritual path.

I loved the colours so much and was drawn to certain ones, some were smooth others rough.  It didn’t really matter to me, I just knew they were helping.  Even the names attracted me to them.  It felt like I had a magic bag of sweets except these were crystals and just by touching them, I could feel better.  This is magic for me and what led me to discover more about them and how they work.
As you may know, the most common use for crystals is in jewellery and decoration, but they can also assist us in the healing process and in our day-to-day lives.  They can be used for many other different purposes, including during treatments to enhance energy work, in meditation, technology and medical science, carrying or wearing crystals and also to help in the home and with space clearing.
Those that have experienced sessions with me or taken courses know how often I talk about energy, frequency and vibration.  Crystals are no different and have a very ancient tradition of being used for self-healing.  Each variety of crystal has a unique energetic vibration which causes it to resonate at a certain frequency.  It is this resonance that’s said to give crystals their healing abilities.  Crystals have an incredible capacity to conduct, amplify and absorb energy as well as their own distinct characteristics and healing properties.
Connecting with crystals is a gentle form of alternative healing that works holistically to harmonise the mind, body and spirit, helping to increase our feeling of well-being and neutralise any negativity.  Crystals are placed directly on or around your body to help restore stability and balance to your body's energy systems, stimulating the body's natural ability to heal.  Its possible to experience a healing session purely using crystals; their energy is soft and gentle but also extremely powerful.  The crystals know exactly what you need in that moment as well as the practitioner placing them on your body.  That’s one of the things I love the most, connecting and communicating with the energy of the crystals and the ‘mineral masters’ that live within so you know how best to help a person, to bring them the balance they seek.  Its like ‘you are one’ with the energy or frequency of the crystal, you surrender in that moment to the purity of its energy and allow it to guide you.  It speaks to you so you can flow with your own intuition or inner guidance system and also share any wisdom that needs to be passed onto the client.  Sometimes the crystals will communicate directly with the client; insights, awareness or understanding comes through internal reflection once we finally give ourselves permission to slow down and receive.  Sometimes those insights can come during a session and sometimes after but the crystals create a doorway to deeper connection, truth and freedom.  They offer us a bridge, stepping ‘stones’ to whatever it is we’re seeking in a very grounded way.  Their frequency can be so high but because the majority of crystals come from the earth there is balance to create a foundation, solid ground beneath your feet while still embracing the high frequency energy.
We can live in such a fast-paced world, so many things to do and places to be, demands on our time, family and career responsibilities which makes it even more important to carve out that time for yourself to be still.  Its just like when people say they ‘don’t have time to meditate’!!!  Then there is even more need to make time otherwise we lose sight of ourselves and where we’re heading.  The soothing energy we can feel from crystals allows all the tension, stress and busy-ness to melt away, wrapping us in soft blanket of safety and protection, reassuring us that there’s enough time for everything and everyone, including yourself.  To find some peace and clear some of the congested energy that you may holding within so you can embrace that balance once again, feeling grounded and supported as you continue to move forward in life.
Its also possible to experience the healing power of crystals through grids that a practitioner can create on or around your body.  They are incredible creations that tell a story and bring in the healing frequency of sacred geometry where the energy of the crystals can be blended and combined to help a person on many different levels.  The crystals can create a lattice or safety net that can support a person on a deep soul level as they process some of the pain and suffering they may be carrying.  Its not always easy to let this soothing energy in as many people may think they can do it themselves or are afraid to be vulnerable but we all deserve help and support.  Its a sign of strength to be able to ask for help and then receive it also.  Crystals never force or push, they reveal their healing energy like when the sun’s rays slowly start to peak out behind the clouds and those rays of pure light slowly get brighter; a dawning of healing energy that can flow all its own or be combined with Reiki energy.  This is the beauty of crystals, their energy can be blended with other modalities and when I use Reiki the impact it can make is truly transformative.
Whether I use crystals on their own or in combination, they stand in their own healing power and deserve the respect and love for all they bring to this planet and humanity.  I wish more and more people would understand the important impact they make in our lives and realise how life changing their presence can be.  Imagine if people were aware of what they’re truly connecting with even when mining them; I wonder what other discoveries we could make, what would be revealed to us!  Crystals carry great knowledge, wisdom and power not only to help others but to understand the history of what has gone before us in terms of the evolution of this planet and humanity.  As I’ve explained before, crystals carry immense healing power and truth.  In the past, this has been abused resulting in terrible consequences.  We know today that our actions always have consequences so its up to us as a human race to try and embrace the universal spiritual principles when it comes to living on this planet and how we treat each other.  They may seem like little pieces of insignificant rock!! but see beyond their outer appearance, look beneath the surface, search for deeper connection, meaning and harmony within yourself, the relationships in your life and how you choose to live in this world.  There is so much more to crystals than you can possibly imagine and my words here only give you a very brief introduction.  So if you wish to discover more then come and experience their healing power in a session or by taking my Crystal Healing Course; immerse yourself in their magic!
